(23:08) Speaking of Finals, the Vegas Golden Knights shock the world, sweeping the Colorado Avalanche into the offseason and have made their third Stanley Cup Final in nine years. What happened to the Avs as they were the best team in the regular season and started 8-1 in the playoffs? Now with the Carolina Hurricanes one win from clinching the East, can we start to look ahead at a matchup that will probably not generate a whole lot of buzz?

(38:22) There have been a few upsets at the French Open to some top names on the men’s and women’s side, but none bigger than top seeded and heavy favorite Jannik Sinner losing in five sets and ousted from the tournament.

(46:29) As the baseball season approaches the month of June, is it safe to say that we can put the Mets out of their misery after a recent terrible stretch, a silly dugout celebration and a team broadcaster that undressed the manager over a fundamental routine play?

(1:00:05) With the NFL schedule released on Thursday, I already have an issue with the first game, among other things. Plus, Aaron Rodgers is back in Pittsburgh for another year. How do I feel about that?

The sports world gears up for another huge weekend as I’ll detail all that’s taken place and what’s forthcoming as the latest podcast is here. On deck:

(3:55) Could it be that the Cleveland Cavaliers are on the verge of making the Eastern Conference Finals? Their stunning win in Game 5 showed that they maybe ready to take the next step. GM Daryl Morey gets the axe in Philadelphia and a couple of sad deaths to report as both Grizzlies guard Brandon Clarke and former player Jason Collins have both passed away.

(23:30) The Colorado Avalanche have punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals shocking the Minnesota Wild in an epic comeback. Who will they face? Same could be said in the East as the Carolina Hurricanes await the winner of the Buffalo-Montreal series. There’ll be a new coach in Toronto as Craig Berube was relieved from his duties.

(31:44) MLB has its rivalry weekend upcoming, which includes the first version of the Subway Series between the Yankees-Mets.

(42:56) It’s NFL schedule release day. I’ll share what’s already been leaked as we get the full slate later on today.

(46:48) The second major in golf will commence today as the PGA Championship tees off outside of Philadelphia. Will last years’ winner Scottie Scheffler repeat?

(52:14) Horse racing takes a huge hit as Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo will not race in Saturday’s Preakness. Should anyone watch?

May continues to slay when it comes to what’s happening in the world of sports. I’ve got you covered on a bunch of different topics as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

If you’re a fan of Joel Embiid & co. you may want to listen up because not only was I disgusted over this performance, but it’s time to blow this thing up if I were the front office. (34:34) As for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Canadiens are flying, the Ducks get even, the Wild look to get the equalizer tonight and the Hurricanes are home after another sweep. I’ll recap what’s gone on and what lies ahead.

(42:46) MLB marches on as the Yankees had a lost weekend in Milwaukee. A couple of AL division leaders get to .500 and the Mets couldn’t salvage a solid road trip, despite it being a winning trip altogether.

(52:11) The NFL schedule will be officially released on Thursday, but the leaks will begin as early as today as to which matchups will be on our radar before you know it.

Fired up to usher in another podcast with all of the sports talk and analysis that you won’t get anywhere else. On deck:

(4:00) The NBA Playoffs have arrived. There were no surprises, other than the Magic winning in Detroit after drubbing the Hornets Friday night in the play-in game. Is this the beginning of the end for the Warriors after their loss in Phoenix. I’ll peep at the other Game 1’s over the weekend and set up what the schedule looks like for the remainder of the week.

(20:22) The same could be said for the NHL as the Stanley Cup Playoffs are underway. You had a couple of close calls in Colorado & Buffalo, but the one shocker was Montreal winning in Tampa to steal Game 1. I’ll take a look at the other series and check out what lies ahead for the week schedule wise.

(34:25) Is this Mets season over in April? It’s still too early to say, but it’s sure looking like it. I have lots to say on this topic, from the owner Steve Cohen, to getting rid of the GM David Stearns, the manager could be next in Carlos Mendoza, even SS Francisco Lindor had something to say, which I’ll certainly unpack. The Mets aren’t the only team that’s bad as there are several other top teams that have hit the skids over the weekend.

(57:54) NFL fans, the Draft is upon us. There was a big trade on Saturday where the Bengals traded their #10 overall pick to the Giants for DT Dexter Lawrence. Was the price tag too big?

It’s almost time to say goodbye to September, but not before I get puh-lenty off my chest as the sports world has me cranky, tight and down right pissed off as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

(1:14:51) There was a bludgeoning out on the golf course at Bethpage Black for the Ryder Cup. USA were undressed and embarrassed by the Europeans in a big way as they went on to win on American soil. And don’t get me started on the fans atrocious behavior.

(1:22:52) A big regular season for the Minnesota Lynx gets flushed in Phoenix as the Mercury pull off the shocking upset in the WNBA semifinals. How did it get to this point?

(1:25:03) A major injury involving the captain of the two time defending Stanley Cup champs that could derail a possible three peat with the season just over a week from commencing.

(51:30) The WNBA playoffs have been entertaining to date. Now you have the Phoenix Mercury making it a series against the heavily favored Minnesota Lynx, tied at 1-1. Plus, how can you justify firing a head coach not even one year removed from winning at title. That’s what the Liberty did to Sandy Brondello. I also squeeze in an NBA point on Fred VanVleet tearing his ACL and what that does for the Houston Rockets this season?

(1:00:43) A highly anticipated Ryder Cup is on the docket this weekend out at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, NY. I’ll preview how close this golf tournament could be and who has the upper hand heading into the match beginning Friday.

As the summer season starts to go off into the sunset, the latest podcast will rise with plenty of topics to discuss. On deck:

(42:01) There’s a new middleweight champion in the UFC as Khamzat Chimeav dominates Dricus Du Plessis in a unanimous decision on Saturday night. Did the layoff have something to do with Du Plessis inefficiency?
