Another major snowstorm in a month isn’t going to stop me as the last week of February and the latest podcast is here, detailing all that’s happening in sports. On deck:

(3:39) I had to take a second to discuss about the Blizzard of 2026 in NYC as we have to dig out of another storm before we get to the month of March.

(5:04) The USA Men’s Hockey Team did it. They won their first gold medal since the Miracle on Ice back in 1980, defeating Canada 2-1 in OT. Despite the win, there’s a bit of a stain in my eyes as to how it was won, which quite a few people share the same sentiment. I’ll also put a bow on the Olympic Games as it wrapped up last night, with the next stop in France four years from now.

(18:58) That’ll lead me into the hockey as the season will resume on Wednesday. I’ll take a look into what could possibly transpire over the next two months as we get set for a sprint to the Stanley Cup Playoffs from here on out.

(34:52) The NBA is in full swing after the All-Star Break. I’ll go over some of the key games over the weekend and peek at the schedule this week as there are some interesting games forthcoming for the Detroit Pistons.

(42:25) College basketball had a huge weekend with the top four teams going at it against one another. I’ll recap Michigan-Duke and Arizona-Houston as the sport heats up with their biggest month just one week away.

(48:03) MLB’s exhibition season has begun, but overall things are quiet in the sport. There was some sad news coming out of the weekend as Pirates legend Bill Mazeroski died at the age of 89.

And MUCH MORE in between.

You can’t keep the sports world down as February keeps on swinging with plenty of action to unpack by yours truly. On deck:

(5:01) The final third of the NBA season resumes tonight. I’ll take a look into my crystal ball to see how the next two months will unfold, which teams have a legitimate shot to win the title and all of the latest news to prepare you for this sprint to the playoffs.

(34:00) College basketball is starting to heat up as we’re exactly one month away from the beginning of the NCAA Tournament. I’ll delve into some big wins (Michigan) and losses (UCONN & JT Toppin’s ACL tear) for some of the top ranked teams in the nation.

(38:08) The Winter Olympics are down to its final few days. Where do we stand with the ice hockey as we look forward to a Clash of the Titans between the US-Canada? Also, how was won medals in some of the other events that have taken place?

(50:11) There’s a shift in the players union for MLB. Tony Clark resigns amid scandal, while Bruce Meyer is the interim executive director. Will a new leader be appointed some time soon? I have a wild prediction on who could possible be next in line? More importantly, how does this impact the negotiation with the CBA expiring in December?

(1:05:24) Cuts and restructuring of contracts are starting to take into shape for the NFL’s offseason as the Dolphins let go of Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb, while the Chiefs restructure the contract of Patrick Mahomes. Is a Hill/Chiefs reunion forthcoming? Plus, the 49ers have another international game on their schedule?

And MUCH MORE in between.

It’s another holiday Monday as I tiptoe through the sports landscape and share all of what’s happening in our favorite little playground. On deck:

(5:47) NBA All Star Weekend has come and gone. Have there actually been improvements to the format, game and festivities overall? I’ll also discuss where we’re at when it comes to reviewing the first two-thirds of the season.

(30:25) Arizona loses for the second time in a week, falling to Texas Tech in overtime. We’re just a month away from finding out who’ll play in March Madness as the NCAA Tournament isn’t that far off.

(33:53) An absolute stunner at the Winter Olympics as men’s skater Ilia Malinin falls way short of winning the gold after his meltdown in the solo event on Friday. Was that a choke job? Is USA-Canada on a collision course for the gold medal on Sunday?

(49:05) Is college football really thinking about expanding the playoff field to 24 teams? Why I think that is absolutely a no-no for yours truly?

(57:02) Will Phillies 1B Bryce Harper make 2026 personal after the president of baseball ops said he wasn’t an elite player last year? Also, his former teammate Nick Castellanos was let go by the team and resurfaced in San Diego after he and the manager did not see eye to eye.

(1:08:53) Did anyone watch the Daytona 500? The winner actually has a connection to none other than Michael Jordan.

And MUCH MORE in between.

We’re about to hit a slow period in the world of sports (A Dead Zone, Part 1?), but you know I’ll always bring life into what’s happening as the latest podcast is here. On deck:

(5:53) Now that the Super Bowl is behind us, what can we look forward to over the next month or so as the sports world takes a bit of a ‘pause’?

(12:05) Four days after the Seahawks win on Sunday, I’ll have some leftovers from the big game, take a look at where next year’s destination for the 61st version will be and what day it falls on? Plus, some news and shots taken at former Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger by a former teammate?

(26:25) The NBA is about to head into the All-Star Break after tonight. I’ll talk about the recent rash of skirmishes in the league, harkening back to the 1990’s. Is there blatant tanking going on in Washington and Utah? I’ll take a lay of the land as the Association takes a respite for a week.

(43:00) College basketball gets back into our consciousness as I’ll discuss Arizona losing for the first time against Kansas, among other things.

(50:03) I’ll review the first two-thirds of the NHL season as we’re less than two weeks away from resuming due to the Olympic break.

(56:58) Speaking of which, I cannot get into the Winter Olympics for the life of me. I’ll explain why.

(1:02:17) A recent rash of hamate bone injuries have struck across MLB, including Mets SS Francisco Lindor. How long will he be out and what will that do for psyche of the team?

And MUCH MORE in between.

It was a Super ending for one team, but a Super beginning for all of us as I host the first ever LIVESTREAM for the podcast detailing ALL that’s happening in the world of sports as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

(1:24) Some quick housekeeping to begin to keep the comments flowing but I’ll address them on the back end of the livestream/podcast.

(3:06) The Seattle Seahawks proved to be the best team in the NFL on its biggest stage as their defense and RB Kenneth Walker dominate the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX for a 29-13 win. I’ll break down every aspect of the big game from the pomp and circumstance, to the commercials, the Halftime Show. What’s next for the Seahawks? And is this a step forward or backward for the Patriots? I’ll also touch on a few of the international games that have been announced, the newest members of the Hall of Fame and some coaching news as well.

(42:11) Now it’s onto the NBA as they are front and center over the next few months. I’ll check in on what’s happening on the hardwood with the latest injuries and news in the Association, as well as, what’s going on in the college circuit.

(58:11) Has anyone watched the first few days of the Winter Olympics? I’ll share my thoughts as they’re just getting started over in Italy.

(1:02:04) Are you ready for pitchers and catchers in the MLB? Well, they’ll start reporting on Wednesday as baseball is slowly but surely coming back into our sports consciousness. Plus, whatever has transpired in the news cycle over the past few days I’ll be sure to uncover it.
