August closes out in grand style as I’ve got a ton to discuss with all of the latest and greatest that the sports world has to offer. On deck:

(5:27) Is it a foregone conclusion that the Los Angeles Rams will be Super Bowl Champions? After the re-signing of star DL Aaron Donald you would certainly think so. I’ll get into why that may or may not be the case as the season kicks off next Wednesday. I’ll also chime in about the key roster moves yesterday as teams trimmed their rosters down to 53.

(23:59) The Yankees win three of four against their heat rivals from Boston and take the season series. Why this is crucial and what this means for both teams down the road. Plus, the latest in the sports when it comes to the pennant races and MLB is trying to toss the idea of having a free agent frenzy similar to the NFL & NBA?

(44:28) We’ve had a huge upset at the US Open, which kicked off yesterday. Novak Djokovic loses in five sets due to ailments as he couldn’t get out of the first round. What does this mean for the men’s side of the tournament, especially the return of Carlos Alcaraz? NOTE: I forgot to talk about the MLB schedule for the early part of the week in the baseball segment, as well as, catching you up on the standings too. My apologies there.

(1:04:39) The NHL has the first even $20 million dollar man as the Avalanche sign defenseman, Cale Makar, to an eight year deal. Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck has asked to be traded, but where is he going with training camps set to open in two and a half weeks?

(1:08:45) Scottie Scheffler wins the FedEx Cup for the second time in three years. Does he still deserve to be the #1 golfer in the world after not winning a major Grand Slam tournament this year?

(1:11:00) Umar Nurmagomedov was shockingly upset in China by Song Yadong on Saturday as he was KO’d in the second round.

(58:32) The NBA lost a coaching legend, who also made one of the biggest shots in NBA history. Don Nelson, the second winningest coach in league history died at the age of 86 as I’ll remember his basketball life.

July has arrived with sweltering heat, which is what I’ll provide with all that’s going on in the sports world as the latest podcast is here. On deck:

(5:04) You couldn’t ask for a more crazier start to the NBA free agency period. In fact, the trades have made the biggest impact the last few days. From Ja Morant getting sent to Portland, Kawhi Leonard going back to Toronto and the inexplicable Jaylen Brown to Philadelphia. I’ll break it all down and where should LeBron James end up as he’s part ways with the Lakers.

(32:43) The USA Men’s Soccer Team advances to the next match against a hot opponent in Belgium. Their win over Bosnia-Herzegovina was costly and controversial. I’ll explain why and get into Belgium’s huge comeback win, Mexico’s incredible run and the schedule for the weekend as we get closer to the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

(49:14) We can’t forget the NHL is going through their free agency period as well. I’ll take a peek at some key signings and how Utah, San Jose and Florida have come out of the gate swinging with big time moves.

(59:27) June couldn’t finish any faster if you’re the Yankees, but July isn’t off to a good start either. I’ll get into the annual June Boone Swoon, how they’ve lost seven in a row and will they get out of this funk sooner than later? Also, Mets owner Steve Cohen had a thing or two to say about his GM David Stearns. Cover your ears, Mets fans. It’s not looking good.

There’s a championship feel to the latest podcast with an abundance of sports chatter to keep you informed on what’s happening throughout the landscape. On deck:

(30:16) There were some major transactions in the NFL over the past few days. None bigger than the Rams acquiring All Pro DE Myles Garrett from Cleveland. Are they already the favorites to win the Super Bowl? I’ll also talk about AJ Brown moving up the Northeast corridor from Philadelphia to New England and a few other signings that took place.

(41:23) MLB is chugging along in early June as the Rays have hit the skids, the Yankees can’t beat good teams, the Mariners have played better and Cristopher Sanchez’s scoreless streak is snapped headline baseball’s top stories.

(23:08) Speaking of Finals, the Vegas Golden Knights shock the world, sweeping the Colorado Avalanche into the offseason and have made their third Stanley Cup Final in nine years. What happened to the Avs as they were the best team in the regular season and started 8-1 in the playoffs? Now with the Carolina Hurricanes one win from clinching the East, can we start to look ahead at a matchup that will probably not generate a whole lot of buzz?

(38:22) There have been a few upsets at the French Open to some top names on the men’s and women’s side, but none bigger than top seeded and heavy favorite Jannik Sinner losing in five sets and ousted from the tournament.

(46:29) As the baseball season approaches the month of June, is it safe to say that we can put the Mets out of their misery after a recent terrible stretch, a silly dugout celebration and a team broadcaster that undressed the manager over a fundamental routine play?

The unofficial beginning of summer has arrived and so has the latest podcast detailing all of what’s happening in sports. On deck:

(8:50) New York is ready to burst at the seams as the Knicks are one win from another sweep and the NBA Finals. As excited as the fans are, have they been overboard with their display of confidence? I’ll get into that considering I’m in the eye of the storm. And I’ll also check in on whether or not OKC could be on the verge of being dethroned as champs with the Spurs dominant effort in Game 4 has the Thunder battered and bruised.

(34:40) Could it be that the best team in the NHL is about to get swept out of the playoffs? That’s what we see to date with the Colorado Avalanche. I’ll explain how they got here and do they have any chance to turn this series around? Meanwhile, the Hurricanes escaped a 2-0 hole by winning in OT vs. the Canadiens. How will the two games North of the Border play out?

(46:10) We’re one third into the MLB season. I’ll survey the landscape to see where we’re at with all 30 clubs as we get a sense of teams that may contend and those who pretend.

(1:02:32) Is there anyone on the men’s side that’ll knock off Jannik Sinner at the French Open which commences today? How will the women’s side unfold with a very competitive field?

The Ides of March has arrived. So has the Madness and everything else surrounding the sports world, so kick back and relax as I’ll go through it on the latest podcast. On deck:

(3:50) After spending a moment talking about how we’re out of the dreaded Sports Dead Zone, Part 1, the NCAA Tournament is back! It promises to be a sprint to Indianapolis over the next two weekends. I’ll break down all of the regions, see who got shafted, which bracket is the toughest, easiest, etc. as this should be a wild couple of weeks in college basketball.

(30:15) One half of the WBC is set as USA ekes out a thriller vs. Dominican Republic. Who will they end up playing in the Final (Italy-Venezuela) and why baseball is by far, the best sport? (Even over football) Also, the MLB season is a little over a week away as spring training is down to its final few games.

(44:33) The NBA continues to trudge along, making its way down the homestretch. I’ll catch up on who’s making some serious moves in the standing, jockeying for a higher seed in both conferences.

(54:16) The same could be said for the NHL, but some controversy surrounds an Anaheim Ducks player recent suspension. Did he get off light after a huge hit on star sniper Auston Matthews?

(1:04:22) After a hot start to NFL free agency, it’s cooled down considerably as expected. I’ll see where Kyler Murray ended up, where’s Kirk Cousins going and a few other fringe signings that took place.

(1:07:27) I’ll wrap up with some golf and tennis as The Players Championship came down to the wire and Jannik Sinner prevails at Indian Wells.
