A busy few days of sports means a jam packed show for you kooks out there who can’t get enough of all that’s happening as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

(6:30) MLB’s hot stove has heated up, but so have the fans of the New York Mets as two of their key players (Edwin Diaz and Pete Alonso) have signed elsewhere. What is the plan that the front office has in store? Do the fans actually trust GM David Stearns and has the faith waned with the owner, Steve Cohen? I’ll check on what else has happened to date as the Winter Meetings conclude today.

(24:33) NFL Week 15 has some interesting games on the schedule. The big news is the return of QB Philip Rivers, who the Colts got out of retirement to help stop the bleeding of a losing streak and save their dying playoff hopes.

(37:00) Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore was terminated immediately for getting involved with a staff member, but was also arrested on an alleged assault charge. Where do they go for a replacement?

(41:51) Oklahoma City has matched the 2016 Warriors for the best start in NBA history. Will they end up breaking their record 73-9 when it’s all said and done?

(50:24) The NHL has been going about its business this year, laying low, but I’ll peek in to see what’s going on throughout the league.

And MUCH MORE in between.

Closing out the first week of November with a busy podcast that’ll satiate the appetite for any sports fan out there as the latest podcast is here. On deck:

(6:34) It was an interesting final few hours of the NFL trade deadline as the Jets moved on bringing back serious draft capital. The Colts making a huge splash. While the Cowboys try to remain relevant with deals that make you scratch your head. Week 10 has a few big games on the schedule as I’ll take a peek at those matchups with the whole league passing the halfway point of the season.

(32:55) The college football playoff committee has lined up who’ll be in the tournament as of today. I’ll dive into that and what the Saturday slate looks like as we close in on the final few weeks of their year.

(41:42) Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has had his share of run-ins with the only organization that he’s known. Is it time for them to take a long look in the mirror to possibly deal him elsewhere? If so, what is the best landing spot for the former All-Star? And would that help his career at this point?

(59:03) Washington Capitals legend Alex Ovechkin has reached the 900 goal club, the only player to do so in NHL history. But what happened right after he scored the goal will surprise you.

(1:04:25) With a classic World Series over, we look ahead to the baseball offseason as a few more big names have opted out of their deals. Also, there’s a new manager in Atlanta with some familiar faces joining him on the coaching staff that may miff the fans from Flushing. A little gamesmanship on their end?

And MUCH MORE in between.

2023 Yankees On Life Support? MLB Division/Wild Card Update. Colts RB Taylor Impending Return Despite Rift With Front Office. Harden Calls Sixers GM "A Liar". Who's At Fault? Who To Trust?

The dog days of August are in full effect. So is the first of two podcasts this week as I jump into the sports pool to keep us all cool on all that's transpiring in sports. On deck:

(2:55) Are the 2023 Yankees on life support? After yesterday's collapse in Miami where the bullpen blew a four run lead in the ninth inning against the Marlins, they go to play the best team in baseball in Atlanta as they get themselves dusted off for a 44 game sprint to October? Is it time to throw dirt on them, even with six weeks to go in the season? I'll take a trip around MLB to review the latest division and wild card standings. And some news regarding Rays SS Wander Franco as it looks like he's going to be away from the team for an indefinite period of time?

(30:50) The Indianapolis Colts and star running back, Jonathan Taylor may be at a crossroads as Taylor is expected to join the team after a contract stalemate, a trade request and some dubious injury information regarding a back issue. Can the Colts save face with this situation?

(37:21) Sixers guard James Harden has publicly called out his GM Daryl Morey, "a liar" as they try to negotiate and execute a deal to send Harden packing out of town? Who's at fault? Who's to blame? Who do you trust?

(44:46) Another longtime Boston Bruins forward is headed off to retirement as David Krejci calls it a career, just weeks after Patrice Bergeron did the same.

A national champ will be crowned in college football as Alabama & Clemson go at it for the third time in four years.
