The final week of January is here. So is the latest podcast, taking inventory on all that’s happening in the world of sports. On deck:

(6:26) I owe a quick apology as there may be some distant hissing in the background. This wasn’t a technical issue, the radiator in the apartment was going off at the time of the recording. You may not even hear it, but I’m acknowledging it so you’ve been forewarned.

(8:03) Super Bowl LX is set. It’s another rematch of yesteryear as the New England Patriots will face the Seattle Seahawks. I’ll recap Championship Sunday with the good (Sam Darnold), bad (snowy weather in Denver) and ugly (Sean Payton’s coaching) with some early thoughts on the big game in less than two weeks. The Steelers have hired Mike McCarthy as their head coach. Was this the right choice?

(36:58) Will the Milwaukee Bucks deal franchise star Giannis Antetokounmpo before next week’s trade deadline? Even after suffering a calf injury where he’ll be out at least a month? I’ll also get into the college basketball in the days and weeks to come.

(46:24) With the Winter Olympics a week and a half away, where do we stand with the latest on the ice as the NHL prepares for a break?

(50:57) The Australian Open heads into Week 2 without a roar or even a pulse. Will that change in the days to come?

(53:29) There were a couple of signings in baseball that may not shake the landscape, but know that pitchers and catchers reporting is a lot closer than you think.

And MUCH MORE in between.

Here to close out another week, with lots to uncover, as the sports world does not let up with all that’s going on as the latest podcast is here. On deck:

(6:36) Championship Sunday is on the horizon in the NFL. I’ll preview both games, how I see it unfold and predict who’ll meet in Super Bowl LX. Also, is there dysfunction in Buffalo? The Bills fire Sean McDermott, leaving the owner and GM with lots to say in the aftermath of jettisoning their former head coach. Plus, the latest coaching hires in the sport.

(38:21) The Indiana Hoosiers punctuate their miraculous season with a National Championship on Monday night. Are they one of the best college football teams of all time?

(47:03) The Yankees finally get their man, resigning Cody Bellinger to a five year deal, but it’s the Mets who make waves by trading for a CF and frontline starter that has their fan base amped up. I’ll also share my thoughts on who made it into the Hall of Fame and why I’m perturbed by the addition of CF Andrew Jones.

(1:00:43) Is it time to panic if you’re a Knicks fan? Well, not after last night’s biggest margin of victory in franchise history. I’ll peek in to see what’s happening there and the rest of the NBA.

(1:07:36) The Sharks make a deal. The Sabres sign one of their own to a long term deal and a goalie fight is what’s happening on the ice in the NHL.

(1:12:43) There isn’t much to report down under at the Australian Open. Will it stay that way heading into the weekend?

And MUCH MORE in between.

On this Martin Luther King day, honoring the great civil rights leader, thank you for fulfilling a dream that I’m living in, talking sports and sharing it with each and every one of you as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

(6:39) NFL’s Championship Weekend is set, but not before some heartbreak in Buffalo and Chicago. Another gut check win by the Rams. Did the Broncos win come at a huge expense? Are the Patriots back? I’ll recap the Divisional Round with plenty of thrills, controversy and heroics from all four games. The Giants officially name John Harbaugh as their coach and Kevin Stefanski finds a home in Atlanta.

(35:43) Finally, the National Championship game arrives in Miami tonight as the Hurricanes will try to shut down the juggernaut that is the Indiana Hoosiers.

(41:08) The LA Dodgers add another Ferrari to the garage as they sign RF Kyle Tucker. Is this a baseball problem? Or are the two time defending World Champs the issue? The Mets sign Bo Bichette, but I’m a bit confused over this as I’ll explain.

(50:25) Ja Morant wants to stay in Memphis. Kevin Durant continues his climb on the all time scoring list as the NBA passes the halfway mark of the season.

(56:33) Rangers GM Chris Drury sends a letter to the fans regarding a forthcoming retool, not rebuild?

(1:04:34) Carlos Alcaraz goes for the career Slam down under as the first tennis tournament of 2026 is here with the Australian Open.

And MUCH MORE in between.

Stay locked in on all that’s happening in the world of sports. You’ve come to the right place to consume it all as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

(6:37) It’s time to usher in Denver and Seattle as the NFL Divisional Round is upon us. I’ll dive into the top storylines and breakdown the four games in great detail. Also, Mike Tomlin has stepped down as coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Where do they go from here? And will the organization rebuild or retool in pursuit of another Super Bowl? Has John Harbaugh found a new home?

(41:03) Still wondering why it’s taking so long for college football to conclude their season? I’ll share my surefire plan to end this once and for all as we still have to wait four more days for the championship game to arrive?

(47:44) Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo boos the home fans in a recent loss to the Timberwolves? Is this a subliminal exit strategy to get him out of Milwaukee?

(55:33) The first coach fired in the NHL more than halfway into the season in Columbus. Plus, the latest happenings on the ice.

(1:00:17) Scratch another big name of the free agent list as the Red Sox make a splash signing Ranger Suarez. Could the Mets do the same by adding OF Kyle Tucker in the days to come?

And MUCH MORE in between.

The pomp and circumstance of the holidays have come and gone. The New Year is in full swing. It’s time to get to work and start off a huge year for yours truly with the first podcast of 2026! On deck:

(6:41) I start off with a ‘thank you’ to my Day One’s or my First Day finding the YouTube channel/podcast and being a part of it. There’ll be plenty of content coming down the pike in the days, weeks, months and 2026 overall, so stay tuned.

(9:43) You couldn’t have scripted a better ending to the NFL regular season. Two rivals. Win or go home. How did it all shake down in Pittsburgh as the Ravens were this close from winning the AFC North? I’ll have a complete breakdown of a wild game, take a look at what the rest of the weekend had to offer (I.e. Are the Seahawks the team to beat in the NFC?) a peek at the Wild Card schedule as it’ll kick off in Carolina on Saturday.

(35:46) The final four in college football is set as the semifinals will pick up later this week. The quarterfinals weren’t much to write home about as I’ll recap the four quarterfinals games on New Year’s Eve and Day. Is Indiana a shoo-in to win the National Championship?

(46:44) Nikola Jokic suffered a significant knee injury, but will be sidelined for a month. How crucial is that for the Nuggets and the rest of the NBA?

(53:09) I’ll see what the college basketball landscape is up to as conference play is well underway.

(54:11) The NHL Winter Classic was far from it down in Miami between the Rangers-Panthers. Also, Colorado is on pace to smash the all time record for points in the regular season. Will they accomplish it?

(1:01:34) Five weeks from Wednesday, pitchers and catchers will start reporting in MLB. Still no word on where the big name free agents will be going? Does this have to do with the impending expiration of the CBA?

And MUCH MORE in between.

(6:40) Some quick housekeeping as I’ll share the podcast schedule over the next couple of weeks, plus some news on daily content and my livestreams on my YouTube channel that you won’t want to miss.

(9:05) NFL Week 16 did not disappoint. You had wild comebacks in Seattle and Chicago. A new division leader in Carolina. Is it time to take Jacksonville seriously in the AFC? A crazy ending to the game in Detroit as Pittsburgh hangs on to win. The playoff picture is clearing up as we’re down to the final two weeks of the season.

(42:37) Are Alabama and Miami live underdogs in the college football playoffs? I’ll preview the quarterfinals and share the top storylines, while recapping what took place over the weekend in the opening round of the tournament.

(54:42) It’s a big week for the NBA as the Christmas Day slate will have five big games (four of them Western Conference matchups) Is OKC slowing down a bit after losing their third game (and two of three) to Minnesota?

(1:00:22) Sidney Crosby has passed Penguins legend and NHL all time great, Mario Lemieux for the franchise leader in points as I’ll see what the latest is on the ice.

(1:04:09) Japanese slugger Munetaka Murakami signs with a team in a big market, but it may not be what you think as we’re still waiting for big time free agents to sign deals in MLB.

(1:06:52) Jake Paul gets knocked out by Anthony Joshua on Friday night in their Netflix fight on Friday. Does he deserve more respect or ridicule for his performance?

And MUCH MORE in between.
