Ready for what the sports universe has thrown at us as I throw it back to you from my lens, with the latest podcast on arrival.

(6:30) We’ve learned quite a bit in Week 14 of the NFL. Teams that are on the verge of not making the playoffs (I.e. Colts, Ravens and yes, the Chiefs) Controversy in Baltimore as the Ravens go ahead TD was overturned. Was it a bad call? Or is it a bad rule? I’ll bring you up to speed on what took place as we’re now down to the final four weeks of the season.

(37:29) The college football playoff committee has spoken. They made one huge error leaving out Notre Dame as one of the final twelve teams to qualify for the tournament. What the snub means for the Fighting Irish moving forward? Plus, Indiana is the #1 seed in the playoff. Are they the team to beat? How much pressure will be on them to deliver a championship?

(51:27) Who’s excited for the NBA Cup? I can’t say I am, but there are intriguing storylines surrounding a few teams that are part of the in season tournament.

(1:00:31) What has happened to the NHL’s Metropolitan Division? Will this be their version of the WWE’s Battle Royale?

(1:07:10) MLB’s Winter Meetings have arrived. Will the Hot Stove have their burners full? Or will it not generate a spark?

Closing out the first week of December with a jam packed podcast that’ll make any sports fan curious to know more about what’s going on throughout the entire landscape. On deck:

(6:38) Feels good to be back as I’ll share some insight of what went down with yours truly over the past week and a half.

(9:35) NFL Week 14 should not disappoint as there are various matchups that’ll be instrumental in which teams will have a leg up on the playoff race, heading into the final month of the season, starting with Dallas in Detroit on Thursday night where the Lions desperately need a win to stay alive in the NFC.

(28:05) College football’s season comes to an end with the Conference Championships this weekend. Does anyone care about the SEC & Big Ten title games? Also, what will the committee do when it comes to the fate of Notre Dame, Miami and even Alabama if they lose to Georgia on Saturday?

(39:38) Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo may be on his way out of Milwaukee as discussions have begun on a possible landing spot for the former MVP, but could a calf injury suffered last night derail his departure? Speaking of which, did Chris Paul get a raw deal from the Clippers after he was shown the exit in the middle of the night while the team is on a long road trip?

(54:58) The NHL has been rather quiet as it continues to skate along into its second full month of play.

(58:42) MLB will head to Orlando as the Winter Meetings will commence on Sunday. How active will it be when it comes to the top free agents out there? And the Mets have replaced their old closer with a familiar face from the other side of town, yet again!

Time to unpack another weekend of sports on the podcast that covers not just one, not two, not three, but all sports as the latest episode has arrived. On deck:

(6:31) We’re past the halfway point of the NFL season. I’ll review what the first half has provided, which teams are legit? Which aren’t? And of course, look back at an interesting Week 10 in the league.

(41:15) Indiana and Oregon hang on to win close games on the road. Texas Tech takes care of BYU and Virginia loses badly at home. Will the college football playoff committee stand pat? Or will they shake things up a little when it comes to realigning the playoff seeds?

(48:48) The Detroit Pistons have fired on all cylinders, winning six straight and are at the top of the Eastern Conference.

(56:35) On the ice, things have been relatively the same as I’ll peek at what’s happening in the NHL.

(1:00:49) Two MLB relievers have been indicted on pitch rigging games earlier this year. Is a lifetime ban forthcoming?

Closing out November with an extended podcast (since I’ll take off Thursday to celebrate the holiday) but don’t despair, I’ll have plenty of courses to fill your sports appetite as the latest program is coming at ya. On deck:

(6:30) There’s no secret as college football has had a tremendous season to date, therefore needing to apologize for my prediction set a month ago. You had FIVE teams in the top 16 lose which turned the landscape of the playoff upside down. Some of the big themes that I’ll unpack. Indiana wasn’t ready to swim in the deep end of the pool as they lost to Ohio State. Do they have what it takes to qualify or make some noise in the playoff? The SEC was a huge part of how topsy turvy Saturday was. Alabama gets whacked at Oklahoma. Are they done? Texas A&M is defeated in four OT’s vs. Auburn. Do they still have a shot to get in the tournament? Ole Miss suffers a crushing loss with two late interceptions at Florida which jeopardizes their chances of a playoff. Also, BYU & Colorado lost tough games on the road where they may not make the top 12 when it’s all said and done. I’ll even preview the schedule over the holiday weekend and tell you which teams are in and out at the moment.

(28:34) NFL Week 12 had its moments, but overall wasn’t a great Sunday. Kansas City had to sweat out a win in regulation vs. the lowly Carolina Panthers on the road. Is there cause for concern regarding the two time defending champs? The Eagles are in flight behind the heroics of Saquon Barkley and his 300 yard plus performance from scrimmage. Has Barkley thrusted himself to the top of the MVP mix? Are the Washington Commanders starting to fade in the NFC East? They lost a brutal game to Dallas after a miraculous TD with seconds to go was spoiled by a missed extra point that would’ve tied the game. And what about the NFC West? Seattle is now tied with the Arizona Cardinals, but have the head to head advantage to control their own destiny at the moment. I’ll review all that’s taken place (including a not so shocking letdown in Cleveland by the Steelers) and peek at the Week 13 schedule to set you up for Thanksgiving through Monday night.

(57:38) The NBA is off in the clouds just a month into their season. I have a thought on how the Spurs have played recently and how important will it be for them to clinch a playoff spot down the road. I’ll recap who’s done well and who’s been scuffling and the upcoming schedule over the next seven days.

(1:03:16) Alexander Ovechkin will be out of the lineup for 4-6 weeks with a fractured fibula that he sustained vs. Utah last week. How does this hamper him in his quest to top Wayne Gretzky for the all time goal scoring lead in NHL history? Sidney Crosby achieves another milestone by becoming the 21st player in history with 600 goals. And there’s a new coach in St. Louis. To a sports fans surprise, the replacement is one who was just released from his position last week, in a one Jim Montgomery of the Boston Bruins. The forthcoming week has a lot of great matchups that I’ll uncover for your edification.

(1:12:07) MLB’s hot stove has been rather chilly. There were a couple of transactions that hasn’t moved the needle (Reds-Royals trade and Yusei Kikuchi signs with LAA) as the Winter Meetings are two weeks away.
