October is here. Which means it’s time to begin new seasons, in the middle of a couple of others and the conclusion of another where there’ll be lots of scrutiny, attention and intrigue. I’ll have it all for you right here as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck:

The bigger story is how one of its top players (and WNBA vice president of players, Napheesa Collier) has called out the commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, for displaying the ‘worst leadership’ in sports. Is she in danger of losing her job? Was Collier out of line for publicly expressing herself?
(1:10:38) Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga signs a two year deal after a stalemate between he and the team throughout the summer. Is the hatchet buried? Or is there a possibility that something else could be brewing down the road?
