Chris Pflum of Big Blue View from SB Nation on the NY Giants/NFL Draft

NY Giants and their fans...you're on the clock! It's a little premature, but you get my drift! NFL Draft week has arrived. Joining me on the podcast is Chris Pflum, who writes for Big Blue View on SB Nation. I'll get his take on the quarterback class of 2018. What will the Giants do with the #2 overall pick? Will they trade down? Should they draft a QB? A running back? A pass rusher? Offensive lineman? If they draft a QB, what does that mean for Eli Manning? Fascinating talk leading up to one of the most anticipated Giants drafts ever! Later, you'll hear my two cents on demoted NY Mets pitcher, Matt Harvey. Plus, a thought on the Washington Capitals. You'll get all of the above, and then some, on the latest episode of The JAYREELZ Podcast. (Episode 9)

Best Sports Month of the Year/REELZ Rant on Yankees Radio Announcer, John Sterling

My latest podcast is detailing why April is the best sports month of the calendar year. There is so much happening in sports that you can choose anyone of these topics (The Final Four, MLB Opening Weekend, the NBA/NHL postseasons, The Masters Golf Tournament and the NFL Draft) and it would be a great lead-in to start any podcast. I also have a REELZ Rant, as I vent on something I watched, read or listened to that I had to get off my chest. In this case, I was tuned in to the Yankees-Blue Jays game on the radio for their season opener. As I was listening to John Sterling, who is the play-by-play voice of the Yankees radio broadcasts, let's just say, that Giancarlo Stanton's home run call and his lack of describing the action of a baseball game are lightning rods for criticism. For that, and a word on potential future guests, click to download the latest edition of The JAYREELZ Podcast. (Episode 6)

2018 NY Mets Preview with Scott & Jerome

On this weeks' podcast, I get the fans involved. Not only are they good friends of mine, but they are true, diehard New York Mets fans in Scott and Jerome. Scott is a long time season ticket holder. He and Jerome are best buddies going as far back as high school, at the very least. Their love and passion for the Amazin's is without a doubt, unquestionable. What we cover dates back to the firing of Terry Collins, the hiring of new manager, Mickey Callaway and their offseason acquisitions. We also get into a heated debate about GM Sandy Alderson on whether he has the flexibility and autonomy to add payroll in light of the Madoff scandal earlier this decade. We dive into the current roster as it's built and whether it can be sustained through a 162 game schedule. Plus, expectations, predictions and even a trip down memory lane through some of the teams' toughest moments. It's a complete breakdown/therapy session of the upcoming campaign for the NY Mets. If you're a casual or rabid Met fan, this will resonate as you get to sink your teeth into this podcast. Even if you're not a fan of the blue and orange, but are a fan of baseball in general, this is a discussion that you'll truly enjoy. Prepare for interesting, in-depth commentary, plenty of disagreement and frustration, which makes this a great listen. Like the great Mets announcer, Bob Murphy, used to say, "Fasten your seatbelt!" This is going to be a fun ride. (Episode 5)
